Shake it once, that's good. Shake it twice, it's ok. Shake it three times and you're playing with yourself

Well, I had absolutely no free time today... which is fine because if I did I'd just be frustrated that I couldn't play World of Warcraft anyway (actually I probably would have loaded my Xbox up for the night).

Ended up working all day (as usual) and scanned a lot of art work in and resized it (it's what I do most the time). Got home and then had a 3 hour Corn Carnival meeting I had to go to.

What the hell is a Corn Carnival meeting you may ask? Well, even if you didn't ask, here's the answer.

The Corn Carnival is a celebration my small little town puts on every year (for the past 29 years!) They usually have a talent show, parade, flea marketers... they used to have a large carnival come in but it got to be too expensive.

Last year in 4 weeks or so I threw together a small renaissance faire during it. It went over well enough that they want me to do it again this year. So I became Public Relations Chair and the rest is history...

thus I get to attend boring 3 hour meetings once a month.

At least it's for the good of the community, that's all that matters.

I want my money back

Now they're making me wait hours on end to just crash and wait some more.

I Hate Mondays

You know you're going to have a bad day when you wake up in the morning and you go to take a shower to find out that your damn cat made it into a damn litterbox and shit all over it.

This weekend kind of pissed me off as well. I had my hopes up for spending the weekend playing some World of Warcraft and seeing how many levels I could grant my Night Elf. The answer: none.

Well, I take that back, I got to level 11 about 4 different times. Every time I leveled, the server went down and reverted me back to level 10. It's like I didn't even play at all this whole fucking weekend! I'm glad I'm still on my free month, if this shit keeps up Blizzard won't get my $15/month until they can prove their servers aren't getting pumped full of white goo by some fat janitor.

Ok, I know they're trying their best, I really do. I know they're not morons and made some of the best games I have ever played. But seriously, when one of the most popular game makers makes an MMORPG you'd think they'd have done some research in making their servers stable enough to handle the load they would receive. Maybe they did take this in to account though and whoever was supposed to be watching Bob the janitor dropped the ball.

I can't believe I wasted 20 minutes of my life to make that shitty comic... but then again, I could have been spending that time playing World of Warcraft instead... if the servers were actually up ><

This is a public service announcement, this is only a test...

Well the weekend has come and gone plus a few other days. Ended up going to Kansas City and played in the Guild Wars Januarary Beta Weekend Event. I simply can't wait until this game comes out. The questing in it is pretty "meh" but the Player vs. Player aspect of the game is a blast. Think of your favorite FPS game with maps and objectives (like capture the flag) and put that into a fantasy setting with swords, magic, and healing and you have Guild Wars.

Also this weekend I watched Volume 3, 4, and 5 of the anime Witch Hunter: Robin. I'm still waiting for NetFlix to send me volume 6 so I can finish this series out. It's one of the better anime series I have seen in a while, and I'm not that big of a fan of anime.

Also like I said, I got a copy of World of Warcraft this weekend as well. It took me about 5 different stores to find a copy as the game is completely sold out everywhere. Finally I went to a backwoods Wal-Mart in a small town and they only had one copy left. People are selling these things on ebay for $70-120 when they retail for $49.99. The games are even sold out online at places like amazon, gamestop, etc. But I got my copy and I'm totally immersed into the game.

I'm currently playing on the Frostwolf server under the name Eldorian. I'm a Night Elf Priest, currently just hit level 7. Funny thing about the game, is not 2 minutes into it I was up in a tree exploring and I fell out of the tree and died. It's events like this that make you feel like a complete noob. I'll probably end up putting a few more hours in tonight sometime after work.

Anyway, the weather here sucks. We've been getting ice and snow like crazy all last week and all this week and supposed to get it all next week. Ugh. Fucking weather.
