Anna Kournikova

So I wonder how many visits my subject of this post will bring. Even though it has nothing to do with Anna Kournikova what so ever. Anyway, I'm not writing much, getting ready to go to bed.

Been working my ass off since I got back from E3 that I haven't even been able to post about it yet. I do have some pictures up in the gallery though. We had some server issues for the last several days and I think I have everything up and running again.

When I get some time I'll detail my whole E3 trip :)

E3 Here

Well it looks like because of the way the media center is set up, it could take about 3 hours for me to upload all of my photos and videos just from the first day. So I guess they'll have to wait until I get back home.

This is my first E3 ever and I have to say, it's a lot more massive then I imagined. I spent yesterday just walking around and seeing what was out there. Today I plan on hitting the games I really want to see. So far today I've managed to get a nice overview and playing of D&D Online which I'm pretty excited for right now. I also got to meet Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb from X-Play and talked to them for a bit.

In about 30 minutes I have an interview with NCSoft about Guild Wars and then I plan on hitting some more games. I wanted to see the new Zelda game but the line is so damn long it's not even funny. 4 hour wait this morning and I went straight there when the doors opened!

Anyway, I'll post some more later, right now I need to prepare for that meeting, later!

E3 Bound

Well, tomorrow starts my trip to E3.

Friday night after work I grab my bags and head to Kansas City. While down there I plan on hanging out with some friends and playing Guild Wars for most the weekend.

Monday morning at 8:30 AM I leave from KC on a plane to LA. I'll have a 3 hour layover in Denver though. Weird thing about this flight is the fact that my ex-girlfriend is flying to Denver that day on the exact same flight I am. What are the chances?

I arrive in LA Monday afternoon where my aunt will pick me up. I'll stay with her until Tuesday.

Then my friend Brekkee (as she's known on the net) will pick me up with possibly Crazy Joe tagging along and we'll head on out to the hotel room where we'll be staying for the E3 festivities! I then leave Saturday afternoon back to Kansas City, but not before I get to go to a California Renaissance Faire before I leave!

I plan on updating this site daily with pictures of the trip, so check back often!

So maybe I should think about updating this a bit more than I have.

Anyway, I got everything moved over to a new server, you'll notice that in the gallery section I have absolutely nothing there now. Seems the coppermine software bundled with GD2 of PHP doesn't handle the resizing of GIF images so I need to find a new way to archive my 3 years worth of Normal Guy webcomics. Maybe I'll just upload my favorite ones and offer the rest as a .zip download.

I've been itching to get back into comicing again. I've been running through some ideas. But as far as I'm concerned, The Normal Guy is a dead comic, it won't be brought back.

Main reason why I need to be updating again is in exactly 2 weeks I will be sitting in California. In 2 weeks I will be attending the video game show of the year... that's right... E3. I plan on uploading pictures each night when I get back to the hotel (assuming I'm not too drunk). So this is definitely something to keep an eye on as I take pictures of the new consoles coming out, all the new games, and especially all the booth babes!

Anyway, I'm going to head to bed. I have some interesting things to talk about tomorrow in regards to small town life and their policies. Some of the stuff I learned today will blow your mind. Until then.... ciao.
